Most fabricators outsource controls. Most controls houses have never sized a weldment. HYDCO develops the group's own rig control and telemetry platform — Xenon, on CODESYS / IEC 61131-3 — in the same office that runs the FEA. When one team owns structure, hydraulics, software and safety, the interfaces stop being anyone's excuse.
